Specialization in Behavioral Disorders
Supporting children as they grow, learn, and discover their strengths is truly my passion. I believe every child learns differently, and I’m committed to creating meaningful, customized experiences that meet your child exactly where they are. As a warm and engaged educator, I take the time to build genuine connections with my students, helping them feel understood, supported, and excited to learn.
With over ten years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, I’ve learned how to blend creativity, structure, and evidence-based strategies in ways that transform learning from stressful and discouraging to encouraging and successful. I love using motivating, hands-on activities and innovative approaches that make learning feel fun, purposeful, and deeply engaging.
I received a Bachelor of Science in both Elementary and Special Education from Towson University. I then acquired a Master of Science in Special Education specializing in behavior disorders from Hunter College. I’ve had the privilege of working with children ages 3–10, both inside and outside the classroom, helping them develop stronger academic skills, social confidence, and a love of learning.
Most of all, I’m here to support your child’s unique journey as well as to celebrate their strengths, guide their growth, and help them shine.
